Description

The 2021 Northern Ireland Open, referred to as the BetVictor Northern Ireland Open for sponsorship purposes, is a professional ranking snooker tournament that will take place from 10 to 17 October 2021 at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It will be the third ranking event of the 2021–22 season and a part of the Home Nations Series. It will be the sixth edition of the Northern Ireland Open. Qualifying for the tournament took place from 23 to 27 August 2021 at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, England: however, matches involving the top 16 players — including the defending champion — alongside three other matches involving Northern Irish players, are to be held over and played at the Waterfront Hall.
The defending champion is Judd Trump, who defeated Ronnie O'Sullivan for the third consecutive time in the final with the same scoreline of 9–7.

Mark Allen made a stunning 147 maximum break on his way to a 4-1 Qual Round 1 win over Si Jiahui at the BetVictor Northern Ireland Open.
