Description

There is an exciting night of boxing on Saturday night at Wembley Arena, with the main event seeing number one ranked heavyweight contender Joe Joyce fighting. Joyce is in line for a world title shot later in the year and fans will be sure to be watching the event to see how the 36-year-old shapes up ahead of a potential fight against Tyson Fury.

Joyce remains unbeaten in his professional career to date after thirteen wins, twelve of those victories have come by way of knockout for Londoner. Joyce has been a late comer to professional boxing after winning silver as an amateur at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

He was due to be fighting Joseph Parker on Saturday, but a late withdrawal means that Hammer will be his opponent for the fight as he tests his credentials for a potential world heavyweight title shot later this year. Recent fights have seen Joyce beat both Carlos Takam and Daniel Dubois as he makes his presence felt in the heavyweight division.
