Description

Jaron “Boots” Ennis faces Uisma Lima on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The 12-round bout will be fought at super welterweight (154 lbs) and serves as a WBA final eliminator, putting the winner in line for a future title shot.

Ennis (34–0, 30 KOs) moves up in weight after dominating at welterweight, saying he feels stronger and sharper without the strain of cutting to 147. Known for his blend of power, speed, and technical skill, he’s expected to control the fight with movement and combinations.

Lima (14–1, 10 KOs) enters as a clear underdog but brings an aggressive, high-pressure style. He’s riding a four-fight win streak and will look to test Ennis’ defense and composure early.

The key storyline is how Ennis adapts to the new division. Most analysts predict a decisive Ennis victory—likely by stoppage in the middle or late rounds—but Lima’s power and unpredictability could make the opening rounds lively.
