Description

Kyle Ryde won Race 2 of the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship at Knockhill. Driving the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati, the reigning champion held off intense pressure to secure his seventh victory of the season.
The 20-lap sprint race featured a highly competitive battle at the front and multiple incidents throughout the pack.

On lap four, a multi-rider crash involving Luke Hedger, Richard Kerr, and Joe Talbot at the Hairpin brought out the BMW Safety Car. During this caution, Bradley Ray momentarily misread the flags and attempted to pull into the pit lane before correcting himself to retain second position.
Championship Contenders Fall: The race saw significant attrition among top riders. Rory Skinner suffered an early mechanical failure on Lap 2. Later in the race, podium contender Ryan Vickers crashed out at Turn 3 on lap 11, followed immediately by Glenn Irwin sliding out at Turn 7 on lap 12.
The Finish: Despite Ray setting the fastest lap of the race and shadowing the leader closely, Ryde rode an error-free defense to cross the line just over half a second ahead.
