Description

Scott Redding won a dramatic, rain-disrupted Race 2 at the TT Circuit Assen during the opening round of the 2026 British Superbike Showdown. The race was cut short on lap 8 of 10 when heavy rain forced a red flag, resulting in half-points being awarded. The race was dramatic from the outset when Rory Skinner suffered an incident on the warm-up lap, causing a delayed start. As the race progressed, a sudden downpour on the fastest parts of the circuit forced riders to signal for safety, bringing out the red flag and locking in the final results from the previous completed lap.
