Description

Nicolò Bulega won the 2026 WorldSBK Tissot Superpole Race at the Circuito Estoril on 11 October 2026. By securing this victory, the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati rider captured his 28th win of the 2026 campaign, breaking Álvaro Bautista's all-time record for the most race wins in a single WorldSBK season.
Bulega started the 10-lap sprint race from pole position after setting a new lap record during Saturday's Superpole qualifying session.
During the race, his teammate Iker Lecuona took the lead but handed the victory back to Bulega after making a critical mistake at Turn 1. Lecuona managed to recover and cross the line in second place, securing a 1-2 finish for Ducati.
The final podium spot featured a dramatic last-lap battle. Motocorsa Racing's Alberto Surra managed to overtake local favourite Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad) on the final lap, denying Oliveira a dream home podium by just a tenth of a second.
