The Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals, famously dubbed "The Big Go," is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious annual drag racing event in the world. Held over Labor Day weekend at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in Brownsburg, Indiana, it serves as the grand finale of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series regular season.
The event recently concluded its historic 72nd running, which took place from September 2–7, 2026. Winning this event is widely considered the absolute pinnacle of a drag racer's career, with drivers stating that a victory here carries weight equal to winning a world championship.

Shawn Langdon secured his third career U.S. Nationals victory, driving his 12,000-horsepower SealMaster dragster to a 3.804-second pass at 333.99 mph to defeat Tony Stewart in the final round.
Jack Beckman, driving John Force’s tribute car featuring the iconic 1996 championship livery, capped off a perfect weekend by defeating Matt Hagan in the final round. Beckman also won the PlayNHRA Funny Car All-Star Callout earlier in the weekend.
