Description

The final quarter-final matchup of the 2026 Copa del Rey takes place at the Roig Arena in Valencia, as FC Barcelona Basquet meets UCAM Murcia. After a dominant opening day from Valencia and Real Madrid, the pressure shifts to the Catalan giants to secure their place in the final four. Barcelona enters as the heavy favorite, boasting a deep rotation that features the scoring versatility of Kevin Punter and the playmaking of Nico Laprovíttola. However, UCAM Murcia, coached by Sito Alonso, has already proven to be a giant-killer this season, having defeated Barça twice in their domestic league meetings. With over 4,000 Murcia fans expected to make the trip to Valencia, the "Universitarios" aim to turn the arena into a neutral site and spark another classic cup upset through their physical, high-tempo style of play.
