Description

The Ford Women's NSW Open reaches its climax at the Wollongong Golf Club, where the Pacific coastline provides a dramatic backdrop for the final 18 holes. This year's championship has been a grueling test of endurance, featuring marathon 36-hole days following early weather delays. The narrative of the final round is centered on Irish sensation Aine Donegan, who holds the lead after a record-shattering 63 earlier in the week. However, she faces intense pressure from Australian veteran Sarah Kemp, whose remarkable comeback from a serious leg injury has captured the hearts of the home crowd. With the tournament's unique open-access format allowing fans to walk the fairways alongside the players, the atmosphere in Wollongong is set to be electric as the international field of LET and WPGA stars fights for one of Australia's most prestigious titles.
