Description

The third round at the historic Royal Hua Hin Golf Course is the traditional "Moving Day," where the field looks to position itself for a Sunday charge in the Asian Development Tour's visit to Thailand's oldest layout. The primary challenge for the players is navigating the "old-school" hazards of the back nine, where the tree-lined fairways and small, elevated greens require precise distance control to avoid the penalizing slopes. The objective for the leaders is to maintain their scoring momentum while managing the pressure of the ฿3,000,000 prize purse, one of the most prestigious on the ADT schedule.

Strategically, the round is a test of iron play and discipline. The goal for the chasers is to capitalize on the early morning relative calm to post a low number before the swirling afternoon winds begin to impact club selection on the exposed ridge-line holes. The tactical focus for the field remains the difficult par-3s, where the strategic bunkering and firm Bermuda grass surfaces make par a respectable score. The ultimate goal for the contenders is to secure a spot in the final pairing by finding the fairway consistently and avoiding the "risk-reward" traps that define this classic Prachuap Khiri Khan venue.
