Description

The final round at the Randpark Golf Club arrives with the championship balanced on a knife-edge. The primary challenge of the "Firethorn" course remains the closing stretch, specifically the water-guarded par-3 17th and the narrow par-4 18th, where many dreams of a Ladies European Tour title have previously vanished. The objective for the overnight leaders is to maintain aggressive ball-striking while navigating the high-pressure environment of a Sunday back nine in Johannesburg.

Strategically, the goal for the final pairing is to remain patient through the difficult opening holes, looking to exploit the scoring opportunities on the par-5s to create a cushion. The tactical focus for the chasers, including local stars and seasoned international campaigners, is to capitalize on the thinning Highveld air to attack pins and force the leaders into defensive errors. With a €330,000 prize purse and a prestigious title on the line, the ultimate goal is to deliver a clinical under-par round to secure victory in one of South Africa's most historic women's golf events.
