Description

Europe’s leading MMA promotion returns to Scotland for its biggest-ever event in the region at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow. The primary challenge for the reigning welterweight champion, Justin Burlinson, is defending his crown on enemy turf against the surging Scottish prodigy Sean Clancy Jr. The objective for "The Clan," who has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the Cage Warriors ranks, is to utilize the energy of a partisan home crowd to dethrone the seasoned champion and secure his own path to the UFC.

Strategically, the goal of this five-round title fight is to see if Clancy Jr.'s explosive striking can penetrate the refined grappling and championship experience of Burlinson. The tactical focus for the champion is to drag the fight into the clinch and use his superior wrestling to neutralize Clancy's power, while the challenger looks to replicate the highlight-reel finishes that have made him a fan favorite in Glasgow. With the Cage Warriors Welterweight Championship on the line, the ultimate goal for both men is to deliver a statement performance that proves they are the next world-class talent ready for the global stage.
