Description

An electric atmosphere takes over the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden as Zuffa Boxing returns to New York City with a high-stakes super middleweight showdown at Zuffa Boxing 9. The primary hurdle for Brooklyn native Edgar Berlanga is shaking off ring rust after an extended layoff and rebounding from his recent setback against elite international competition. The objective for the hard-hitting Puerto Rican contender is to establish his explosive power jab and control the center of the ring, looking to set up lethal combinations and regain his status as a feared knockout artist in front of a passionate hometown crowd. Concurrently, the mission for Canadian knockout artist Steven Butler centers on weathering the early pressure and unleashing his own devastating counter-punching, aiming to silence the MSG crowd and score a massive upset victory on the premier stage.
