The 2026 Optics Valley of China Wuhan Open was a professional snooker tournament that took place from 23 to 29 August 2026 at the Optics Valley Gymnasium (Huazhong University of Science and Technology) in Wuhan, China. It marked the third ranking event of the 2026–27 snooker season.
Champion: 24-year-old Chang Bingyu captured his maiden ranking title with a 10–7 victory in the final.
Despite the final defeat, the runner-up finish successfully propelled Zhao Xintong to the World No. 1 ranking spot. He became only the 13th player in history—and the second player from China after Ding Junhui—to hold the top position since the official rankings began in 1975.
