Description

For the first time in its history, ONE Championship is heading to Yokohama Buntai with ONE SAMURAI 3 on Saturday, September 12, and it is shaping up to be a night the city will never forget.

In the headline attraction, ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Nadaka Yoshinari will begin his chase toward two-sport dominance.

The 25-year-old is a generational talent who has built an extraordinary 41-bout winning streak and established himself as one of the faces of the ONE SAMURAI event series. On September 12, in front of a home crowd, he makes his professional kickboxing debut with the eyes of an entire nation watching.

But Har Ling Om has other ideas. The Lethwei and Muay Thai specialist has proven to be a destructive force across multiple disciplines, and his remarkable ability to adapt to any style gives him every tool he needs to pull off the kind of upset that would shake the Japanese martial arts scene to its core.

In the co-main event, former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Yuya Wakamatsu takes the first step on his road back to gold. South African powerhouse Willie van Rooyen, however, views this as the perfect opportunity to shock “Little Piranha,” earn the biggest victory of his career, and stake his claim for a shot at the flyweight belt.

The card will also feature the likes of former WBC Muay Thai World Champion Shimon Yoshinari, Japanese phenom Hyu Iwata, Thai star Suablack Tor Pran49, and RISE Champion Hyuma Hitachi.

Result Description

Nadaka Yoshinari made a successful transition to kickboxing with a dominant unanimous-decision victory over Har Ling Om in the main event of ONE Samurai 3 at Yokohama Buntai. The reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion adapted quickly to the different ruleset, controlling distance with his straight left, sharp kicks and superior timing while repeatedly beating Har Ling Om to the target. The Myanmar veteran remained durable and willing to exchange, but Nadaka dictated the tempo across all three rounds and never allowed the fight to develop into the kind of physical contest his opponent needed. All three judges awarded the bout to Nadaka, giving the Japanese star a winning kickboxing debut and extending his remarkable unbeaten run to 42 consecutive victories.
