Description

Alex Dunne won Feature Race 1 of the 2026 Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Driving for Rodin Motorsport, the Alpine Academy junior started from pole position and dominated a chaotic, red-flagged race to secure his first victory of the season.
The race was heavily disrupted by a major multi-car incident that brought out a red flag. Championship leader Nikola Tsolov suffered a bad pit stop and later crashed out, severely damaging his title campaign. Meanwhile, Rafael Câmara produced a dramatic final-lap drag race past Noel León to steal 4th place on the finish line, allowing him to narrowly take over the championship lead.
