Rafael Jodar produced an impressive Laver Cup debut by defeating Alexander Bublik 6-2, 6-3 in the opening match of the night session at The O2. The 20-year-old Spaniard settled quickly despite the occasion, breaking Bublik midway through the first set and maintaining control with powerful first-strike tennis and composed baseline play.
