Description

Wu Yize won the inaugural 2026 Shenzhen Open, defeating fellow countryman Yuan Sijun 10–5 in an all-Chinese final at the Bao'an Sports Centre.
This victory marks the 22-year-old reigning World Champion's third ranking title and his first since winning the Crucible crown in May. With the victory, Wu collects the £177,000 top prize and rises to a career-high world ranking of number two, right behind fellow Chinese player Zhao Xintong.
Formerly known as the Xi'an Grand Prix, the tournament relocated to Shenzhen for the 2026 edition as the sixth ranking event of the 2026–27 snooker season.
