Description

Easton Christopher Cowan (born May 20, 2005) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is a forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the first round, 28th overall, of the 2023 NHL entry draft.

Early life
Cowan was born in Strathroy, Ontario but moved to his grandparents' farm in the nearby town of Mount Brydges at age 13. His father, Chris, claims that he was named partially after the Easton hockey stick brand. Former NHL player Darren McCarty is his cousin.
