Season Description
The 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship concluded its action-packed 30-round season at the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. It was a historic year dominated by spectacular grid expansions, tactical updates, and a legendary performance at the front of the field.
The Champion: Ash Sutton made motorsport history by securing an unprecedented fifth BTCC Drivers' Championship. Driving the Alliance Racing Ford Focus Titanium under the NAPA Racing UK banner, Sutton dominated the year with 9 victories and an incredible 21 podium finishes across the 30 rounds. He officially wrapped up the crown a round early at Silverstone.
Independents & Special Trophies: Mikey Doble clinched the Independent Drivers' title for LKQ Euro Car Parts with Power Maxed Racing (Audi A3 Saloon), while his teammate Dexter Patterson secured the Jack Sears Trophy.
